Well I’ll admit, it’s been a minute since I posted a monthly recap. Since March 2020, to be exact. The reason being that literally my days are all pretty much the exact same. Well, 2020 has taken quite the turn, hasn’t it? Never in my wildest, anxiety ridden dreams did I imagine that we’d be dealing with an international pandemic this year, or in my lifetime really. As of writing this, I’ve been in my house without leaving for 35 days. We’re incredibly lucky that California took COVID-19 very seriously early on and put a shelter in place order out super early, so luckily things aren’t too bad here though we’re being extra cautious. I can’t believe February has already come and gone! Even with the extra day it truly feels like it flew by. February was a weird month for me, busy with work yet weirdly spring-like, with temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Max and I have been taking advantage of the warmer weather and have been exploring new areas to walk. Ah, the first month of a new decade! As usual, I kicked off the the New Year with my birthday early on in the month and enjoyed some additional time off of work for it after the holidays. Better late than never, am I right? I haven’t done a monthly recap since January 2019 so it seems fitting to finish out the year with one since I started with one, lol. New year, new intentions to keep up with my monthly recaps lol. January was a total whirlwind, as it included an author signing, my birthday, my bridal shower, ALA, and it marked one year since I got engaged!
