There are so many things I loved about Loveboat, Taipei. It was like a crazy summer camp book yet set in a breathtaking, international setting with a backdrop of constant, amazing cultural experiences. Recently Christina Lauren books seem to have taken a turn from predominantly romance focused stories to stories focused more on the career and self-exploration of their 20-something protagonists- and I am here for it! It’s no secret that Girls with Sharp Sticks was one of my favorite books of 2019. I was absolutely thrilled when I was offered an ARC of the sequel, Girls with Razor Hearts and could not wait to dive into this sci-fi/dystpopian story again (which is a true testament to how well written this series is, as those are genres not typically in my reading wheelhouse!) I can’t believe February has already come and gone! Even with the extra day it truly feels like it flew by. February was a weird month for me, busy with work yet weirdly spring-like, with temperatures in the 60s and 70s.
