sundayfundaynewSunday Funday is a weekly(ish) post I’ve started to recap the bookish (and sometimes not-so-bookish) happenings in my life the past week! Feel free to participate, just link back!

September 1- September 7, 2014

This week I did a lot of studying for the first in a series of entrance exams to apply for grad schools. I feel good about it, although I’m not quite sure why standardized testing always has to be so early in the morning. So this section is a bit brief this week as I spent most of it wearing down my #2 pencils in preparation!

Read this Week: happylookslikeThis was such a cute, fluffy, easy to read romance. Jennifer E. Smith manages to remind readers why clichés became so popular in the first place. Review to come this upcoming week!

 ARCs!

ohyeahaudreyThanks to ABRAMS publishing for approval for this title! I love Audrey Hepburn and this cover is gorgeous!

portraitsofcelinaThanks to Capstone Young Readers for approval for this title! I’ve seen a lot of good reviews for this title so far and it looks like a spooky read to get me in the mood for Halloween!

Currently Reading:

10507293This is actually a reread to prepare me for The Elite, which I have on my bookshelf but have yet to read! This series is so addicting, and the reality-show idea is actually really clever.

What Happened Here This Week:

Tuesday: I answer questions for my second Liebster Award!

Wednesday: My Bookshelf Tour!

Thursday: I rave about my love for The Evolution of Mara Dyer.

You can also see me featured this month over at Falling Down the Book Hole’s Book Blogger Shout-Out feature! I’m so excited and honored to be featured on her blog!

How was your week in reading? Let me know in the comments!
