As usual, Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the fantastic blog The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s topic was SO fun, as it highlights all of the spring releases I’m anticipating! I luckily have some of these pre-ordered already, and am hoping to get my hands on the others, as these are all books I’d love to have my own copies of! The titles are in no particular order, and links go to Goodreads.
1) A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas
2) Crimson Bound by Rosamund Hodge
3) A Darker Shade of Magic by V. E. Schwab
4) The Girl at Midnight by Melissa Grey
5) The Royal Wedding by Meg Cabot
7) The Winner’s Crime by Marie Rutkoski
8) Saint Anything by Sarah Dessen
10) Made You Up by Francesca Zappia
What books made your list this week? I’d love recommendations! Let me know in the comments what made your TTT this week!
These all have such pretty covers! The Heir and A Court of Thorns and Roses are definitely on my list as well! I hope you enjoy all these books!
Laura @BlueEyeBooks
I hope I can get to all of them in a timely manner (sometimes when you buy books then end up sitting on your never-ending TBR pile!) The covers this spring are definitely a beautiful bunch!
I don’t think I’ve told you, but I LOVE the graphics that you make for your blog — the font, everything is so cute! Anyway, I totally forgot about A Court of Thorns and Roses, The Heir and End of Days! I was just looking at the books I already have haha. This is an awesome list!
Thank you SO much! I don’t have any sort of graphic design background so it’s been a lot of trial and error and teaching myself, but it makes me happy to know that others like them! 🙂 I can’t wait for End of Days especially, have you read the first two books in the series yet?
😀 You’re welcome! Yes! I’ve read the first two! They were so good! I can’t wait to read more of Raffe, I really missed him in World After.
The Winner’s Crime was amazing and I’m currently reading A Darker Shade of Magic, which is really good too. Made You Up looks like a really interesting read, I just recently added it to my TBR.
I’m really interested to see how Made You Up handles mental illness. I like that’s it’s broaching more of a taboo topic in YA.
Always interesting to see how an author handles the topic.
Brilliant list. I do want to read A Court of Thorn and Roses. Somehow I managed to leave that off my list. Oops!
I think everyone wants to read it this spring!
All of these books look so amazing! Saint Anything and A Darker Shade of Magic are on my TBR list too. I just read the little blurb on Goodreads about Crimson Bound, and it sounds awesome! I’ve been in the mood for some fantasy lately, so I’ll definitely be giving it a try once it’s released. Great list! 🙂
I’m on a fantasy kick too! Have you read Cruel Beauty? It’s by the same author as Crimson Bound and it’s SO GOOD.
No I haven’t.. I’ll add it to my TBR list! 🙂
I’m so intrigued by The Girl at Midnight because majority of people have either loved it or hated it. If I don’t remember incorrectly, I think it mainly is because it bears so much resemblance to Daughter of Smoke and Bone. I just requested TGAM on NetGalley, so hopefully they accept my request! The Winner’s Crime was by the way pure torture (the sweet kind)! I was absolutely left heartbroken and I can’t believe we have to wait for a year until the third book comes out!
I’ve seen the polarized views about The Girl at Midnight as well. I loved DOSAB, so hopefully that means I’ll like The Girl at Midnight! (Although Laini Taylor’s prose would be hard to live up too!) I can’t wait to read The Winner’s Crime!
There are a couple of these books I also want to read! The Heir, A Court Of Thorns and Roses, A Darker Shade of Magic, The Winners Crime! All of those I am anticipating also.
I’m so excited for all of them, I hope I can get to them as they’re released!
A Court of Thorns and Roses is on my list too! I heard many good reviews about it. Also, eventhough it’s not on my list, I’m anticipating The Heir too.
Great list! 🙂
I’m really interested to see how The Heir handles the jump to the new generation! I’m also really interested in seeing how the selection will work with male suitors!
I can’t wait to read The Royal Wedding, I’m surprised I haven’t seen it on other lists yet. And I despertaly need to read The Winner’s Curse So I can read the Winner’s Crime.
I know! I am a HUGE Princess Diaries fan so I am SO EXCITED to continue Mia’s story!
Lots of great looking books on your list this week. I highly recommend ADSOM! It didn’t make my list, but I’m also hoping to read The Winner’s Crime because I loved the first book.
I’ve heard so many good things about ADSOM that I think I’ll have to treat myself to it soon!
So many of these books are on my list, too. Especially Crimson Bound, Saint Anything, The Winner’s Crime, and End of Days. I need them now.
END OF DAYS! I have it pre-ordered and I was so delighted with how the cover turned out!
The cover has to be the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
I could not agree more 🙂
I’m really looking forward to A Court of Thorns and Roses and The Heir, I just hope they can live up to my very high expectations. And I want to get to A Darker Shade of Magic soon, or any book by Victoria Schwab for that matter. 🙂
Many of these spring releases DEFINITELY have a LOT to live up to, especially considering which author’s they’re coming from! I feel like I’m one of the only people left who hasn’t read ADSOM!
ADSOM is so good!
hope you enjoy all of these 🙂
Thank you! I can’t wait to get to it!
There’s a new Sarah Dessen book?! Uh oh I can’t resist. Ohh the cover for The Heir is so beautiful…Great list!
Yeah, I feel like I haven’t heard of her publishing anything super recently so I’m excited for the new Dessen book, especially considering the cover is SO different from any of her other books!
Oooh NICE selection here^^ I also have ADSOM on my list this week. I still need to catch up on Cruel Beauty, Winner’s Curse AND Angelfall…gah! So many books, so little time haha! Oh and I hope you love ACOTAR as much as I did 😀
Here’s my TTT post this week!
Micheline @ Lunar Rainbows Reviews
I’m so jealous of everyone who’s already been able to read ACOTAR, I’ve heard almost 100% positive things regarding it!
I can’t wait for The Heir. Happy reading! 😀
Thank you! I’m curious to see how Cass transitions the series to a new generation!
I’m so psyched for The Royal Wedding! I loved The Princess Diaries! 🙂

ME TOO! I feel like not very many bloggers I know are excited about it but when I heard she was continuing with Mia’s story I was FREAKING out!
I had A Court of Thorns and Roses on my list as well! And I wish I had put A Girl at Midnight. Made You Up sounds like such a cool concept too!
I think ACOTAR is on practically everyone’s list this week! I like that Made You Up is tackling the issue of mental illness. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
I can’t wait to finally reading Royal Wedding. I hope you love ACOTAR as much as I did! Looking at everyone’s lists today got me all excited for spring and reading. 😀
Didn’t you get a copy of of the Royal Wedding at ALA Midwinter (and also saw Meg Cabot?) If so, I’m so jealous and excited to hear your thoughts on it!
I did yes! (It makes me smile that you remembered.) Meg Cabot is wonderful and I hope you get to meet her some day too. I have Royal Wedding staring at me from my bookcase. What am I waiting for?! Too many good books to choose from to read. I am so bad at making decisions. lol
I really like the design of your blog! Simple beauty is my favorite. You have a new follower! Great list 🙂
My TTT
Aw thank you so much for the compliment and the follow! 🙂
ADSOM is so so good! I hope you get to read it soon. It was just fantastic. I can’t wait for Saint Anything, ACOTAR, Made You Up, and The Girl at Midnight. They all sound amazing!
So I just read your current discussion on book covers and then I just noticed that you put the blue dress for Winner’s Crime–and perhaps that’s secretly a sign that you should get that copy! (But then again the red one is more in line with the first book? But then again–[endless debate ensues]).
Cheers,
Joey via. thoughts and afterthoughts.
