Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc! This is my first stacking the shelves since June. Geez! Life has really gotten in the way of my STS posts (which I actually talked about this week on the blog). I have definitely acquired a LOT of books since last June, and with so many great 2016 releases (and a job which equals money to buy books with!) I am hoping to be able to post more STS posts […]

Christmas (Book) Haul and Recap 2015!

Merry Christmas, blogosphere! This holiday season definitely snuck up on me, and while it was a crazy rush Christmas shopping and prepping for the holiday, I managed to finish all of the essentials! I received some wonderful gifts (and books!) this year and thought I would share them here! Max and I started the morning at our place with our personal tree and gift exchange. As it’s our first full size tree together (and not one of the mini-trees used in our college dorms and previous apartments) the decorations are a little sparse, but we do love it! One of […]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc! Bought Three pre-orders came in for me this week! I’ve started A Court of Thorns and Roses and I have to say- it is COMPLETELY living up to the hype so far! I’m looking forward to starting The Heir and Crimson Bound soon too! What did you add to your shelves this week?

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc! Bought I picked up Vampire Academy yesterday, as I’ve been curious about the series for a while now. After going to YALLWEST last month and seeing the absolutely insane lines to meet Richelle Mead, I decided I really wanted to give her books a try! (Plus, it’s been a while since I picked up a vampire book!) I also pre-ordered The Heir and A Court of Thorns and Roses this […]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc! Well, it’s about 4am my time and I’ve been up all night finishing The Royal Wedding by Meg Cabot (it’s SO good you guys), so I figured why not get my STS post up while I’m at it? Bought: I was recommended this after finishing The Wrong Side of Right which I adored for it’s political aspects (I hear the mom’s a senator in this one). I also got it […]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc! Bought: My copy of The Winner’s Crime finally came in the mail! If you read my discussion post about the cover struggle, you know that it was hard for me to choose which edition I wanted! I eventually went with the US hardcover! Borrowed: This is one of my top picks for the Reading My Library Challenge, and I was able to pick up my hold from the library today! […]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc! Bought: This week I purchased Red Queen (which I’ve already read and had mixed feelings about!) and was gifted Crown of Midnight…which I’m curious for, since Throne of Glass left me with a lot of complicated feelings! I’ve definitely added some fantasy reads to my shelf this week! I also purchased an e-copy of Obsidian by Jennifer L Armentrout because it was on sale for $1.99 and it was the […]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc! Bought My first order ever from The Book Outlet arrived this week! I treated myself to new paperback copies of volumes 1, 3, 4, & 5 of the Princess Diaries Series (since my copies are falling apart since I read them so much and I’m planning to reread them all this spring). I also ordered a hardback for just $6.99 of Dance of the Red Death, the second novel in […]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc! Purchased I’ve been slowly making utilizing my giftcards from Christmas and picked up two books from Barnes & Noble this week that I’ve had my eye on for a few months now. The Book of Ivy has a gorgeous cover and has a plot that reminds me a lot of the show Revenge. Damsel Distressed is a Cinderella based retelling and I can’t wait to read it for the Fairy […]

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc! Purchased: I received some iTunes giftcards for Christmas so I’ve been trying to make more of an effort to download books through the iBooks app to read on my iPad (which is use instead of a traditional Kindle/Nook). I’m really excited that I picked both of these up for $1.99 each! Both are titles that I’ve been wanting to read and neither is very long, which I think will be […]
