Most Anticipated Books Releasing the First Half of 2024

So Fetch: The Making of Mean Girls | January 16 The fact that Mean Girls is now 20 YEARS OLD makes me feel like I’m about to turn into dust XD I heard about this one from a recent video by Merrily Kristen and it’s a nonfiction book about the making of the iconic movie, which I will 100% read basic I am a basic millennial who is a sucker for nostalgia, lol

House of Flame and Shadow | January 30 What is there to say that hasn’t already been said? Probably the most hyped book of the year!

Bride | February 6 I haven’t met an Ali Hazelwood novel I haven’t loved, and I am so interested to see how she navigates a paranormal romance (which is a big departure from her usual STEM novels). I also looooove a good werewolf vs. vampire story.

Ready or Not | February 13 I’ve never read a surprise pregnancy romance and this one is getting a lot of hype!

Finlay Donovan Rolls the Dice | March 5 I feel like it’s a tradition now for me to read a Finlay Donovan book toward the beginning of the year, and it’s been my first (and honestly, only) dip into cozy mystery. These books are so campy and hilarious and I can’t wait to see what Finlay and Vero are up to next.

The Reappearance of Rachel Price | April 2 I love love looooove the Good Girl’s Guide to Murder trilogy and I’m really excited for Holly Jackson to tackle a new thriller (I haven’t read FIVE SURVIVE yet either- is that one worth it?)

The House on Biscayne Bay | April 9 I adore Chanel Cleeton’s Cuba inspired books (I think I’ve read all of them!) and this one seems to have more of a horror slant to it. I’m on the blog tour for this one and can’t wait to read it!

The Paradise Problem | May 14 I feel like my loved for CLo books has ebbed and flowed over the years (I tend to prefer their older stuff) but in 2023 I read both The True Love Experiment and The Honeymoon Crashers and really enjoyed both! So I’m hopeful that I’m going to enjoy their new book about a grocery chain heir.

Play Along | June 11 I don’t have a blurb, I don’t have a cover, but I just finished The Right Move and can’t wait for more in this series!

Not in Love | June 11 Even if this is a copy/paste of Hazelwood’s usual hate-to-love STEM romances, idc because I loooove how easy and fun her books are to read! Plus, I always learn something about science.

Are any of these on your TBR for 2024?
