Favorite Book Read in April: This is so hard! It’s a tie between The Wrong Side of Right and Royal Wedding!
Least Favorite Book Read in April: The Improbable Theory of Ana and Zak…I received the ARC at YALLWEST but unfortunately I wasn’t very impressed by the story. Review to come closer to the release date.
Book that Most Surprised Me in April: These Broken Stars. I’m not usually a big sci-fi person but this book had me really invested in the character’s relationships!

Updates About My Life This Month
April was a huge month for me and my blog. I went to my first major YA event, YALLWEST, and had an absolutely fantastic time! I was able to network with other bloggers, meet a TON of my favorite authors, and get some great books! I also decided to take the next big step in my blog’s future and made the move to self-hosted! (Expect a fully detailed post about it this week!) I held my second ever giveaway for an ARC of Emmy & Oliver, and worked on expanding my Instagram presence. May is going to be super busy with my boyfriend’s graduation, my best friend’s graduation, running my first 10k, and preparing for several bookish events I’m going to in June (ALA, Bay Area Bookfest, etc).
I’d also like to give a huge thank you to all of my followers this past month, who continued to encourage me and visit my blog despite the migration from wordpress.com to self hosted! Change can be difficult but I’m so glad I still have my audience, and I can’t wait to bring even better content to you from my new platform!
Wow 9 books in a month? Awesome job! April was certainly a busy month – I hope you have an amazing May!
Laura @BlueEyeBooks
Thank you so much Laura!
Hi Cristina! Welcome to self-hosting! You’re totally going to love it; I’ve only been in the scene for five months, and absolutely love the freedom. . .and plugins!
On another note! Wow! You read 9 books! I’m lucky to read 4, that’s been my biggest streak since book blogging ha ha! Wishing you the very best in the month ahead!
Claudia @ My Soul Called Life
Thank you so much Claudia! Moving was a bit nerve wracking but I have to say I’m having a lot of fun on my new self-hosted site! I didn’t realize how many books I had read until I did this post, but a few were re-reads so they went by fast! Thank you for the well wishes 🙂
April has been busy busy for you! The posts that went out that month were pretty pretty fun to read. 😉 And 10 books this month! Good job. Hopefully this month is just as good and I hope you have your reader problems sorted out! (If they haven’t already. High fives if they did! :D)
~Kaitlin
Thank you so much Kaitlin! I did get the reader problem sorted out so everything is working smoothly now!
