Books I’ve Read This Month

nov books read

Total Books Read: 4 (A slow month! Holiday season gets in the way!)

Rereads: 1 (Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater)

Goodreads 2014 Reading Challenge Progress: 58/50 Books (Yay! Goal reached for the year!)

Favorite Book Read in November: I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson

Such beautiful writing!

Least Favorite Book Read in November: I enjoyed everything this month, but Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas took me a really long time to get into. I kept getting distracted when reading and it took me over two months to read!

Book that Most Surprised Me in November: I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson.

Updates About My Life This Month

1) I reached 50 Bloglovin’ followers! This is an exciting milestone for me and I want to give a huge and heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who follows!

2) If you’ve been following my blog this past month you’ll know I’m hosting the Wolves of Mercy Falls Read-A-Long & Giveaway with She Reads She Blogs and CK’s Reading Corner through December. There’s still time to enter the giveaway to win a signed copy of Sinner with the limited edition dust jacket!

3) Thanksgiving week was really fun! I got a brand new MacBook Pro (courtesy of my awesome Aunt and Grandparents as a belated graduation gift)! It’s so beautiful and so far I’m really liking Yosemite.

4) I spent Thanksgiving visiting my boyfriends family and having a really fun time. I got to meet a lot of his extended family that I hadn’t yet and explore and go sightseeing. We also managed to hit Target later in the day for Black Friday and I managed to pick up a couple of books (thus breaking my no-more-books-until-Christmas-ban, but who knew they’d actually put some books on promo for Black Friday?!)

It’s going to be a MAD rush to try and finish all the books I want to before January, and there’s quite a few I need to. Here’s my (ideal) TBR for December):

Linger

Forever

Sinner

Let It Snow

My True Love Gave to Me

The Truth About Alice

Belzhar

How was your November? What titles do you have left to try and get through before the end of the year? Let me know in the comments!
