Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the fantastic blog The Broke and the Bookish. This week a few of my books are spillover from my fall TBR that I didn’t get to, combined with my holiday-themed reads and some December/January releases. These are mostly books I hope to finish by the end of 2014/early 2015!
1-2) My True Love Gave to Me and Let It Snow Anthologies- I haven’t read any YA short stories so I’m really excited that I own both of these to get me into the holiday season!
3) Wicked by Jennifer L. Armentrout- Probably my most anticipated book release for the rest of the calendar year, I cannot WAIT to read this paranormal book set in New Orleans.
4) Fairest by Marissa Meyer- I love Queen Levana as an antagonist and can’t wait to read a book from a villain’s perspective.
5) Crown of Midnight by Sarah J Maas- After my mixed feelings about Throne of Glass (you can read my review here) I’m anxious to see if Crown of Midnight will impress me more.
6) Winterspell by Claire Legrand- I’ve heard really mixed things about this book but I’m a huge lover of the Nutcracker and think the concept sounds really neat.
7-10) Blue Lily, Lily Blue & Sinner by Maggie Stiefvater, Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins, and Belzhar by Meg Wolitzer- All of these were on my fall TBR and I’ve yet to get around to them, so I’m hoping to finish them up before 2015 ends!
I am really excited for Wicked too! I just hope I have time to get to it sooner than later!
I feel like JLA has so many books out that I can’t seem to stay on top of all of the ones that I want to read!
Crown of Midnight made my list too, and I really want to read Sinner but I did my TTT with books I already own.

I’m really hoping I like Crown of Midnight more than Throne of Glass!
I forgot about Blue Lily, Lily Blue! How dare I?!
Luckily I managed to sneak back and add it in before publishing π
I am goodreadsing all of these books – I have heard of a couple but I’m so out of the loop! Great post Cristina xx
I’m glad I could give you some recommendations this week! Thanks for stopping by! π
Such a great list! Hope you’ll get to these soon π
My True Love Gave To Me and Let it Snow are also on my list for this winter π
I’m hoping I don’t get too burnt out reading all of these holiday short stories!
Great picks:)
Thank you!
Queen Levana intrigues me but at the same time terrifies me, so I’m really looking forward to Fairest.
It’ll be something to hold us over until Winter comes out!
I can’t wait for Fairest! π Sinner was good, I hadn’t read the trilogy but I liked it. Winterspell also looks interesting. I have to read Throne of Glass!
Good luck with your list!
I just think Fairest is so interesting seeing that we get the villain’s POV before the series is over, so I’m really interested in how that will impact my reading of Winter!
I love Wintery anthologies! They’re so lovely for this time of year. I’m also going to read My True Love Gave To Me soon and I’m really looking forward to it!
I think a lot of people are excited for My True Love Gave to Me! There’s actually a few YA authors featured that I haven’t gotten a chance to read, so I’m really excited to hopefully be exposed to some new authors that I’ll enjoy!
I’ve been curious about Winter Spell & Blue Lily for months now! I wish there was enough time to read all my TBR π I love your list though; we have similar tastes π

It seems like I’m never really going to be able to get to all of the books I want to read, especially in the fall/winter with how busy things get with school, all the holidays, etc!
(If only I was able to faithfully keep up with and honour these seasonal TBRs…) It wasn’t until recently that I heard about My True Love Gave To Me and geez there are so many high-profile contributors involved! And with so many authors to choose from, I’m thinking it’d be a good Christmas stocking filler (after I read it, maybe).
Cheers,

I’m hoping that this holiday anthology trend will lend itself to perhaps more short story compilations by authors year-round. It’s a really great way to get exposed to new authors without having to commit to books that may not be your style.
You make a good point! And I’d be so down for that.
I’m seeing Winterspell on so many lists, including mine! Great choices π
Check out my TTT!

Thanks for stopping by!
Oooh I forgot about My True Love Gave To Me and the Let It Snow anthologies! I hope to read a Christmas-themed book this year, even if it’s a re-read of Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares which I love. I also want to read Belzhar at some point too as it sounds really interesting and I haven’t read any JLA books but I hope to amend that soon!
I really need to get my hands on Dash And Lily’s Book of Dares as well!
