One of my FAVORITE posts to write and read are posts highlighting new upcoming releases! I feel like I say this every year but 2018 looks like it’s going to have some really phenomenal releases! I’m linking up with Top Ten Tuesday for this week’s prompt “Top Ten Books I’m Looking Forward to in 2018,” however I am likely going to be doing a series of posts on 2018 releases on my radar because there are just so many!

This week I’m going to be focusing on 2018 releases that are on the top of my priority list that are non-debuts. I’ll do a separate post highlighting the debuts I am excited for as well! You can find them in order of release date below.

Truly Devious by Maureen Johnson // Boarding School + Maureen Johnson’s Wit + True Crime Vibe = Take Cristina’s Money.

Stay Sweet by Siobhan Vivian // Ice Cream + Bad Ass Business Women during WWII + Adorable Cover = Perfect Summer Read.

Sam & Ilsa’s Last Hurrah by Rachel Cohn and David Levithan // Twins + High School Graduation + Too Much Confetti = Likely Going to Give Me High School Nostalgia Feels.

A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J Maas // Rhysand + Rhys + High Lord of the Night Court = Cristina’s Already Dubbed Favorite Book (Novella?) of 2018.

Love & Luck by Jenna Evans Welch // Ireland + Destination Wedding + Spinoff Characters from Love & Gelato = Get My Passport, Please.

The Way You Make Me Feel by Maureen Goo // Food Trucks + LA + Diverse Cover Model = Everything about this book seems #flawless.

Puddin’ by Julie Murphy // Companion Novel to Dumplin’ + Dance Team + Minimalist Cover = Sign Me Up!

The Cheerleaders by Kara Thomas // Mystery + Unsolved Murders + Ironically Named Town = I’m Ready for the Drama.

To Be Honest by Maggie Ann Martin // Reality TV + Dealing with Body Image + Cover LOVE = Can’t Wait for the Body Positivity Feels.

Catwoman: Soulstealer by Sarah J Maas // Catwoman + Sarah J Maas + heists = Already Preparing for Swoons.

Did any of these releases make your TTT this week? Are there any that you hadn’t heard of before? Let me know in the comments!

  1. So, yeah, I want to read every one of the books you listed. Maurene Goo knocked me out with her last book, so the new one is a must. I loved Willow Dean so much and am over the moon that she is getting another story. Cohn and Levithan are always good for me. I think Thomas writes fantastic and twisty stories. Johnson is always a good read. Seriously, I cannot control my stream of consciousness over your list is unending.

    • Thank you! I know I say this every year but this upcoming year the YA releases are SO GOOD. I’ve been blogging for 4 years and reading YA much, much longer than that and it’s incredible to see how far the selection has come when it comes to YA books!

    • I’m really excited to see how Sarah J Maas handles the Catwoman story! My BF and I were unfortunately not a huge fan of the Wonder Woman book that was released this year but I still want to try this one because I love the author!

    • Soooo the Cruel Prince has me eye (that cover!) but I’m picky about my Fae stories and didn’t like The Darkest Part of the Forest (the only other thing I’ve read by Holly Black). I hope you love it- maybe I’ll give it a try!
