Updates About My Life This Month
- I’ve made some updates to my pages, and you can now find all of the 2015 challenges I’m participating in under Features, and my review index has been updated to include reviews categorized by not only author but by title and rating as well.
- I had a wonderful birthday this month, and the first month of 2015 has left me feeling really rejuvenated and motivated to get things DONE. Starting with taking the GRE, looking into different job industries, and saving up for some really fun vacations in the spring (like YALLWest!)
- This week I’ll be taking a mini-vacation for a few days and visiting a lot of friends from college. I’ll have some posts scheduled and will catch up on comments as soon as I’m back!
- I’m really, really hoping to further involve myself in the bookish and blogging community this year so if you haven’t already I’d LOVE if you dropped by and said hi or chatted with me on Twitter!
How was your month? Did you get a good jump start on your 2015 reading goals this month?
Did you already take the GRE or you are going to take it? I like to think of that test as a conquest, like a game. But mostly it’s just a pain in the butt. Glad your 2015 is off to such a great start!
I haven’t taken it yet (I’m aiming to take it around the end of March…it’s just such a pain and I can’t wait for it to be over!) I’m mainly nervous about the math, but I know it’s something I just have to prepare for the best I can and do. Thank you for the well wishes!
I really like this post. Such an interesting month
Thank you!
Looks like you had a great month – in reading and in your personal life! I’m definitely looking forward to reading Trial By Fire. Have fun on your vacation!
Thank you! Trial By Fire is REALLY good (especially if you find the interplay between science/fantasy interesting and yearn for GOOD world-building).
Oh, man. I only read one book in January (the shame!), and technically I finished it at midnight on February first! But I’m hoping it jumpstarted my want to read again, so maybe I’ll read more this month ^-^ I’m so glad you liked Eleanor & Park! That book was incredible. Enjoy your vacation!
Thank you! Reading E&P was definitely one of those moments as a reader when you realize you’ve just read something incredible and profound! I hope you find time to pick up more books this month 🙂
Just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the Versatile Blog Award 🙂
