Calm Down 2018, I See You | End of 2017 Priority TBR

Calm Down 2018, I See You | End of 2017 Priority TBR

Last year I did a post rounding up all of the books I really hoped to read/finish before the year came to a close, and I found it a fun way to keep me on track for my TBR, so I decided to go ahead and do it again this year! Writing the post also coincided quite nicely with this week’s TTT prompt over at The Broke and the Bookish (Top Ten Books on My Winter TBR). I’ve divided up the books I have left to read into three main categories, and while there are 11 books in total, I […]

Monthly TBR Plan: October 2017

I’ve made a lot of reading resolutions for 2017, and one of them is to be better about cultivating a monthly TBR. I know so many bloggers do beginning of the month TBR posts and I always LOVE reading them, so I’ve decided to post my own as well! I will include my physical, e-book, and ARC TBRs as well as a status update of where I am prior to starting my upcoming month’s TBR. Reading Progress Prior To This Month: 60/60 Books Read Woohoo, I have successfully completed my Goodreads reading challenge! As of October 1st, the pressure is […]

I’m Starting to Feel My Age: Top 5 Adult Fiction Books on My TBR

Lately I’ve been going through a phase where I find myself semi-tired of my beloved YA. Titles that I thought I would CERTAINLY be on the edge of my seat reading have ended up being a chore to read (I’m looking at you, Winter). Perhaps because I’ve recently been thrust into adulthood in my real life, I find myself craving characters with more mature relationships, life challenges, and goals. While I don’t see myself ever turning away from YA or even demoting it from my number one preferred genre of books, I think incorporating more adult fiction into my TBR […]

November, November: the beginning of the most wonderful time of the year

November may be my new favorite month. This year, November’s brought with it the first hints of fall (the weather has literally dipped twenty degrees over the course of two weeks) new holiday traditions, and a return to a state of calmness in my life. At the end of August I experienced some major life changes, and have moved to a new town, started a new job, and gone on an epic vacation in the course of the past two months. This has led to a decrease in posting and reading, but an increase in amazing life-changing opportunities. However, mid […]

The TBR Tag!

The lovely Nirvana over at Nirvana’s Pocketful tagged me last month to do the TBR Tag. Although I’m just now getting around to it, it works out perfectly because with the beginning of the new year I’ve been doing more of an inventory of my TBR! How do you keep track of your TBR pile? Goodreads is the easiest way to keep track of everything! Of the physical books I own but need to read, I place them horizontally on my bookshelf so I know that they haven’t been read yet! Is your TBR mostly print or e-books? Mostly print! […]

Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly feature hosted by the fantastic blog The Broke and the Bookish. Armentrout- […]

I cannot WAIT to see how this trilogy ends, it’s my favorite series that I’ve discovered this year! […]
