March 2021 TBR

I’ve made a lot of reading resolutions, and one of them is to be better about cultivating a monthly TBR. I know so many bloggers do beginning of the month TBR posts and I always LOVE reading them, so I’ve decided to post my own as well! I will include my physical, e-book, and ARC TBRs as well as a status update of where I am prior to starting my upcoming month’s TBR.

Reading Progress Prior To This Month: 11/75 Books Read

Library

A Vow So Bold and Deadly | This is definitely the month of EXCELLENT library holds coming in and I will be kicking it off with the third book in the Cursebreakers series! I like this fantasy series because it feels more “accessible” than other high fantasy novels since the protagonist is from the “modern” contemporary world originally.

The Divines | This one flips back and forth between present time and the 1990s as the 30 something protagonist revisits her past boarding school days. Also internally crying that 1990s is considered historical fiction now.

From Blood & Ash | I have seen so many folks comparing this to the ACOTAR series so I’m excited to try this out, especially since finishing A Court of Silver Flames!

Chain of Iron | Last year I reread TMI in preparation for Chain of Gold and rekindled my love of Cassie Clare’s writing, so I can’t wait to revisit Lucy, James, Christopher, Anna and the rest of the gang!

We Can Only Save Ourselves | I’ve been into thrillers lately and am always fascinated with books about cults, so this sounds right up my alley! I like how the synopsis also toys with the idea of suburbia itself being a cult…

Killer Content | I just recently read my first “cozy mystery” and I really enjoyed it (so quirky and fun!) so I’m excited to try another one!

Girls with Rebel Souls | It totally slipped my radar that this was coming out this year and I am so intrigued as to how this series is going to end! The second book was not what I was expecting AT ALL so I bet this will be a wild ride too!

ARCs

Yolk | I love how vulnerable Mary H.K. Choi’s writing is, and that she focuses on older YA protagonists. I’m excited to read this story about sisters!

What books are you your TBR for March? Let me know in the comments!
