Stacking the Shelves [23]

Stacking the Shelves CanvaStacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc!

FullSizeRender 2So this week I ended up with a bit of an unexpected mini haul! My boyfriend found a bag of books at his office abandoned by some co-workers who had attended ALA midwinter. Upon noting that they were YA and that no one else wanted them, he was able to give them to me! I’m super excited about All The Bright Places (the cover under the book jacket is GORGEOUS) and Even When You Lie to Me. I’ve heard mixed things about We All Looked Up and mainly positive things about The Unlikely Hero of Room 13B (which I for some reason thought was a middle grade novel).

I’ll probably be adding even more books to my shelves before the week’s end because I have a few Barnes & Noble coupons (I’m hoping to pick up Dreamland by Sarah Dessen).

Did you add anything new to your shelves this week? Have you ever happened across free books in random or strange ways? Let me know in the comments!

  1. All the Bright Places and We All Looked Up are recent purchases by me as well, in fact, I’m in the midst of writing up a haul post about them! Room 13B is also on my wishlist after Paper Fury’s review. 🙂

Wicked luck to come across some abandoned and unwanted books, score!
