Bought

My first order ever from The Book Outlet arrived this week! I treated myself to new paperback copies of volumes 1, 3, 4, & 5 of the Princess Diaries Series (since my copies are falling apart since I read them so much and I’m planning to reread them all this spring). I also ordered a hardback for just $6.99 of Dance of the Red Death, the second novel in the steampunk Masque of the Red Death series that I’ve been waiting to get my hands on

Borrowed

As usual, all of my library holds seemed to come in at the same time this week! Despite lackluster reviews I’m still excited to read I Was Here by Gayle Forman to see how she handles to topic of suicide in YA lit, and I’ve heard really good things about Lies We Tell Ourselves…I’m thinking it could inspire another Cristina’s Close Look post.

What did you add to your shelves this week? Link me up to your STS posts in the comments!

  1. Lies We Tell Ourselves made me tear multiple times. There are so many strong messages in there. It’s actually almost overwhelming. But seriously, that book pretty much changed myb opinion on a lot of things!
Also, I love how you’ve got I Was Here because that one deals with another serious topic. You’ve got a lot of really hardcore reads. Awesome!

    • I’m really looking forward to Lies We Tell Ourselves and am hoping I can sit down and really focus on reading it because it seems like it would be great inspiration for a discussion post! Thanks for stopping by and commenting! 🙂
