As 2014 comes to a close, I wanted to share the stand-out reads that I’ve experienced this year with all of my followers. I already participated in The 5th Annual End of the Year Book Survey but I also wanted to showcase my thoughts in my own way by highlighting the books that make reading and blogging all worth it! The covers of the winning books will link to my review. Feel free to participate, just link back!

I hope you found some suggestions! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
I sure did 🙂
Oooh, this looks like fun! I’ll try and participate, but it was great to look through yours anyway. 🙂
Thanks! It was fun to pick my favorites out of everything I read this year!
Great list! I loved all the books on your list 🙂
Thank you!
I’m reading I’ll Give You The Sun RIGHT NOW because I’ve seen it show up on so many “best of” lists this week! I’m hoping it holds up to your “best prose” award, and it’s looking like it will!
It’s a bit slow to begin with, and at times the prose is a little over the top, but for the most part it’s beautifully written and really evoked so many emotions out of me!
Great list of books! Gone Girl did live up to the hype, and so did the movie in my opinion. Glad you like I’ll Give You the Sun, I’ve been meaning to pick it up. I also really enjoyed reading Cinder, can’t wait to continue the series.
I LOVED the Gone Girl movie (Rosamund Pike did SUCH a good job as Amy!) I’m really hoping it gets some Academy Award recognitions!
Hey, we both did book awards and Fangirl made both of our cuts. Sign of a solid book me thinks! 🙂
Fangirl was perfection! Have you read anything else by Rainbow yet?
Not yet! I do own Eleanor & Park though. 🙂
It looks like you had a great reading year! Fangirl is such a cute book, I ended up loving the whole mara dyer series from start to finish, and Dangerous Girls did have a pretty epic ending.
Here is to a wonderful 2015 bookish year! Cheers.
Blogging really pushed me to read new books out of my comfort zone, and I am so thankful for that!
