Sunday Funday: Week in Review [2]

Posted May 26, 2014 by Cristina (Girl in the Pages) in Sunday Funday, Weekly Features/Memes / 3 Comments

sundayfundaynewSunday Funday is a weekly(ish) post I’ve started to recap the bookish (and sometimes not-so-bookish) happenings in my life the past week! Feel free to participate, just link back! (I know it’s technically Monday today, but this week has been crazy!)

Graduation!

I did it! I graduated with a double-major B.A. and now am facing the vast world of opportunities that post-grad life has to offer.

Moving

Along with graduation I’ve moved several hours away from where I’ve been going to school the past four years to start post-grad life, so I’ve been behind on my reading and posting. I’d just like to apologize and say that I’m excited to really have time to focus on content and reading this summer! On the plus side, I’ve found some of my childhood favorites while unpacking that had been lost in storage, like the Babysitter’s Club series and my Dr. Seuss classics!

My boyfriend gave me some wonderful paperbacks as an early graduation present and I am so excited to start/continue some series I’ve had my eye on! The biggest struggle is going to be how to decide what book to read first! Reviews of these will be posted as soon as I work my way through them!

Just Ordered!

So excited for this to arrive! I wish I had time to reread the whole series prior to this last installment, but I’ll have to content myself with reading The Shadowhunter’s Codex which has been sitting on my bookshelf for a while!

This week I’m featured on Retro Reads over at the fabulous blog The Grown-Up YA! Check out the post here.

Thanks for sticking with me through this busy week! What books have you added to your shelf for the beginning of the summer season?
