Stacking the Shelves [8]

STSnewStacking the Shelves is a weekly feature hosted by  Tynga’s Reviews where bloggers share the books that they’ve added to their shelves this week, whether borrowed, bought, virtual, physical, etc!

Bought:

evolutionmaradyerSo I actually ordered this paperback edition from Amazon in mid-July but it took over a month to ship, and it FINALLY arrived at my house this week! I adored the first book and I’m so excited to read this, although I’m saving it for a day when I know I’ll have NO distractions to keep me from reading it!

annafrenchkissI finally caved and bought the first book in Stephanie Perkins’ super popular series. Partly because I’ve seen everyone just about Isla, and partly because the new cover designs are SO pretty. I haven’t cracked this open yet but I’m hoping not to be disappointed!

Borrowed:

nightmareaffairThis was a complete impulse borrow from the library, as I’ve heard nothing about this book or author, but the cover and title caught my attention (I think it’s so pretty!) I like the concept of the story-that nightmares are actually personified, magical mythical beings like fairies, except they have to feed of of human dreams to survive. It’s a different approach that I’ve yet to read and I’m excited for it? Has anyone else come across this book?

Link back to your STS in the comments! I’d love to see what you’re reading this week!

  1. I really love the Mara Dyer series so far! It messes with my head completely though! I enjoyed Anna and The French Kiss, it’s sweet and easy to read. I don’t quite love it as much as everyone else though. I hope you enjoy it and the rest of your books this week! 🙂
